While the growing pandemic offers new struggles for every business, it is important to have systems in place to rid surfaces of the novel coronavirus (COVID-19) that may have become contaminated. Grove Scientific & Engineering offers clean verification testing for your business to see if your cleaning/disinfection  standard is sufficient to rid a surface of bacteria and fungi. If a virucide was included in the surface cleaning protocol, this test will indicate that the surface was properly treated, and that your customers or workers can be confident that the cleaning procedures have been effective.

Once contracted, Grove will have a properly PPE clad field technician come to your facility and collect samples of high touch and high traffic surfaces once your staff cleans it to the standard you provide. Our field technician then delivers the samples to an accredited laboratory for analysis by Reverse Transcription Polymerase Chain Reaction (RT-PCR), or equal test, to determine the efficacy of the cleaning procedure. Test results are typically available within 72 hours. After the analysis is complete Grove will furnish a report to your business with the results summarized and either a clean clearance of the surfaces sampled or recommendations for further cleaning, if warranted. 

Please Note: Grove Scientific and Engineering is not able to recommend a procedure to clean a surface or to certify that a surface will be contaminant free for a prolonged period of time. The only data reported will be the efficacy of the cleaning that was performed prior to Grove's sampling of the business’s surfaces.
